How BloomStat Was Founded

BloomStat was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to build joyful memories, strengthen family relationships, and develop the resilience needed to overcome life’s challenges.

Too often, families facing financial hardship miss out on the experiences that help children grow and create lasting connections. A trip to the zoo, a museum visit, a family outing, or another shared experience may seem ordinary, but these moments can become lifelong memories that foster confidence, belonging, and hope.

The name BloomStat reflects our mission. We believe every person has the potential to bloom, regardless of the obstacles they face. The word “Stat” is a reminder of the statistics that often define children growing up in adversity. Our goal is to ensure those numbers never determine a child’s future by creating opportunities that help families grow stronger together.

Growing Our Impact

Today, BloomStat’s primary initiative is the Experience Fund, which provides children and families facing hardship with access to meaningful educational, cultural, and recreational experiences they might not otherwise have. Working alongside schools, social workers, and community partners, we remove financial barriers so families can spend quality time together, create positive memories, and build resilience.

As BloomStat grows, we will continue exploring new ways to strengthen children, families, and communities while remaining grounded in our core belief that meaningful experiences can change lives.
